KAI Fund

Since 2007, KAI Square sets aside a significant percentage of our yearly profit for charity purposes and funding research & development that aim at improving the quality of life for the physically and mentally challenged.

AIM of KAI Fund: Improving lives through innovation

Founders Statements: “In 2006, the 2 founders sat down and piece the initial concepts with the main idea of making a difference to the less fortunate. One of the few ideas was the use of streaming real-time videos from normal mobile phone cameras to our servers for video optical character recognition and speech generation so that the visually impaired
can “read” simple documents. This goes on to creating an analytics engine which can help them to cross road safer by analyzing the traffic signals and car speeds. In fact, many of our developed technologies for security originated from the idea/concepts that are for the purpose of helping people.”

KAI Square invites individuals and corporates who share the same vision to come forth in exploring way use where such technology can help in improving the quality of lives for the less fortunate. We are looking for non-profit oriented but self-sustainable business models. KAI Square will be able to subsidize part of the development cost as well as provide the free use of our available technology and cloud computing resources

Some on-going projects
- Improving the lives of the visually challenged
- Subsidizing equipment/software for Telemedicine in 3rd world countries
